While we would love to accommodate everyone, all guests are named on the invitations. This is so we can effectively manage numbers with the venues and suppliers.
Are kids welcome?
We love your kids (especially the babies)! Just not at our wedding. We’ve had a few parents ask about booking extra rooms in the hotel for grandparents or other caretakers to stay with their young children. Once initial rooms are booked for all confirmed wedding guests, we would absolutely be happy to accommodate this at the reduced rate per room!
If you’d be interested in this option, please reach out to William or Josh and we can let you know if rooms are available. We can also help find nearby accommodation for families if we become fully booked.
What will the weather be like and what should I wear?
Venice in November is generally cool and dry with temperatures ranging from 8-12C (45-55F) so layers with jackets are recommended. Weather-proof outerwear and umbrellas should also be packed as there remains a fair chance of rain.
All of the events will be taking place indoors. However, during transfers between the Hotel and the Wedding Ceremony Venue, we will be outdoors with water taxi boarding and a short 10 minute walk to the ceremony venue. For specific dress codes to wedding events, please refer to this section. If all else fails, remember Billy’s motto:
You can never be over-dressed.
Are the venues fully handicap accessible?
The Hotel Monaco is fully handicapped accessible with room available to meet your needs.
However, the wedding ceremony venue is only navigable by stairs. If you have accessibility concerns, please let us know when you RSVP or reach out to one of us individually.
